Welcome to Tim’s cookery classes and private chef services, helping turn the best of Devon’s great produce into mouth-watering dishes; either at one of my courses (the next one is on 21st March) or in your own kitchen or in a meal I prepare for you.
Great news! From April 3rd 2015 I will be running the lovely restaurant at Yearlstone Vineyard (www.yearlstone.co.uk/) overlooking the Exe Valley just north of Crediton. We are still sorting the details for The Devon Chef at Yearlstone so keep a look out for more news soon. As a result I will only be available for private chef services from October 2015.

The idea of my cookery lessons is simple:
▪ If you want I can come to you and we use your kitchen equipment (don’t worry – I’ll have some back-up kit if needed);
▪ You choose what food to cook, whether it’s a quick evening meal for a busy working day, a special dinner for two, or dishes for a party;
▪ I can also show you exciting culinary ways to use the contents of your veg box, or how to use up the leftovers in your fridge.
You get to have a go – the best learning comes from ‘doing it’ – this is a key part of the lessons.
If I come to you, don’t worry about about how big or small your kitchen is – the idea is to get you to use it even better than you are already. Or we can use my kitchen, overlooking the beautiful mid Devon countryside, if you’d prefer.
Since you’ve learnt it in your kitchen, once I’ve gone you’ll find it easy to keep using the recipes and techniques.
